Our Items: 2017.12.10

Hi, and welcome to this week’s entry in our blog. Kind of late this week, but considering the number of stamps we’ve got up for bid this week and next week it’s understandable. We have 36 stamp auctions closing tonight, along with that one piece of ham radio gear.

The stamps in tonight’s auctions include such choice goodies as Scott 299 (MNH), C1-C6 unused, C18 (Baby Zeppelin, MNH), 24, 297, 298, 287, 290, 325-327, K1, J6, J48, five of the Parcel Post (Q) stamps mint, and a handful of mint Washington-Franklins - nearly all unused. Still a couple of stamps with no bids!

And don’t forget about that really nice, like new ham radio transceiver. It is a beauty. As I mentioned, it is a consignment item, but I have hooked it up here at my station and gave it a try - sounds really good and is a pleasure to operate. Original box, user manual, microphone, and a third party software programming package accompany it.

I may reverse my previous decision about offering my stamps to foreign bidders. One kind customer who is also a stamp seller supplied me with some information and text about a viable solution to the “missing” overseas envelopes. I will possibly include this information in upcoming auctions and open up bidding for non-USA buyers. May take a couple weeks - stay tuned.

In the mean time - take a look at this week’s stamps and get yourself an early Christmas present or two!
