Hello fellow collectors and others who might be following my musings. Hope you are doing well on this last weekend of January. We had rain in the early part of last week, but now we’re enjoying very nice, mild, sunny weather. Great day to be outdoors, but noooooo - we spent a few hours shopping in Costco. NOT my favorite thing to do on a weekend. 🤬
This week we’ve got 25 stamp auctions closing along with three slot cars that are on consignment. The stamps include several unused Columbians along with some 19th century classics such as Scott 68, 88, 36, 38, 69, 189, 77, 73, 71, 11, 78a and several of the other large bank note issues. For back of the book items, you will find two State Department officials, Scott O61 and O62. There is also a very nice looking Scott 26 on partial piece with a pair of star cancels and a circular Dracut, MASS cancel from 1896. And don’t forget about those two fixed price / make offer stamps in our eBay store, Scott 100 and Scott 89. The 89 has an expertization certificate with it.
The slot cars belong to a friend / retired co-worker. He doesn't have an eBay account and I occasionally sell slot cars and HO-scale railroad items for him. If you are a slot car person - take a look at these three - they are really nice!
Good luck with your bids!
