WE ARE BACK!!!! The cross country road trip vacation mentioned in our previous blog was a blast! We left our Folsom, CA home on 7/14 and returned on Sunday, 7/29. We visited 17 states, drove 6,684 miles, and visited numerous National Parks, National Monuments, and National Memorials. Lots of rain back east altered our travel plans and we didn’t get a chance to see my PA hometown or Niagara Falls in NY. But other than a %$##$#@@@ speeding ticket in WY, we had a great time on the way back.
Because our plans changed (several times) during the trip, I did not launch any stamp auctions while we were gone. Sorry if that tripped any of you up. But, this past Sunday we did have 40 auctions go up on eBay and they will all close this coming Sunday, August 5. There is quite a mix of material up for bid - 19th century classics like Scott 9, 24, 36, 33, 35, 71, 89, 15, etc. There are a bunch of mint plate number singles from the very early 20th century, including many of the offset printing issues.
There are two of our listings (Scott 69 and Scott 35) out there with no gallery photos associated with them. This is due to a problem that eBay had a few days ago. Since both listings already have bids, I am unable to add the photos to them. However, once you open the listing, you WILL see my imbedded images of each stamp, front and back.
