Greetings and welcome to the Valentine’s edition of my blog post. The weather folks are saying that it is official, we are having a weather “el Nino” here in California. And I believe them. This past week saw rain, rain, and more rain. With some major winds and marble-sized hail just for kicks. A wild week, for sure. The mountains just to the east of us have been getting snow, to the tune of 10-12 feet of it at the higher elevations. No drought this year!
This Sunday we have 26 stamp auctions coming to a close. And there are some really nice stamps for you. Look for Scott 291 (50¢ Trans-Mississippi), 133, 115, 116, 319F never hinged, 319g booklet pane mint, 189 mint, 285 mint, 286, 288, 289 - all mint. We’ve listed six of the Panama-Pacific stamps in mint condition, too. There are several of the “large” bank notes, like Scott 160, 161, 182, 165, and an offering of used Officials.
In addition to our stamp listings, this week we have four non-stamp items up for bid: couple of Harry Potter themed action figures, a Star Wars electronic light saber, and a Sharper Image wireless/bluetooth speaker. All are new, in box, never opened. No bids so far, so you’ve got a chance to grab them at a bargain price.
And lastly, please don’t forget my new stamp shipping fees, mentioned last week in a separate blog.
