Hi all - we are back from our mini-vacation to KY, IL, and TN. Just as hot back there as here in Folsom but the humidity - yikes!!! Even so, we had a great time, met with some of Anilea’s cousins, toured Mammoth Cave National Park, Opryland in Nashville, and spent a day in Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg, TN. Fun trip, but glad to be home.

Tonight (in less than three hours, actually) we’ve got 20 stamp auctions that are closing. Got a small handful of nice Washington-Franklin stamps up for grabs along with some nice, unusual back ot the book stamps. Such as Scott J29 ($$$), J35, J2/J3, and J4. In addition, you’ll find some revenue stamps like RJ7…RJ11 (Tobacco Sale Tax), RL1-6, RL8 (Customs fee stamps), and two Local Post stamps: Scott 29L1 and 20L52.

Coming up next week will be a couple US classic 19th century stamps along with a batch of back of the book US possessions: Canal Zone, Hawaii, Danish West Indies.

My usual supplier of nice US collections seems to be running out of steam and that is not good for me. Over the past 5 -10 years I’ve been buying collections in the $1,000 - $5,000 range but now there is very little to choose from. However, I did manage to purchase two large, high catalog value collections / lots of Revenue stamps. So, if you need to fill in your US Revenue pages, stay tuned for our auctions. These stamps are due to arrive here during this coming week, but I’ve a feeling it’ll be too late to get any auctions up next week. As I said - stay tuned!
