Hello fellow eBay’ers! I hope everyone is enjoying the late summer weather. We’ve had a pleasant break from the upper 90-degree stuff that was the norm for July and August - it’s been in the mid 80’s last week and predicted to be the same this coming week. However…. if you have (or had) young kids you know that they eventually bring home new cold strains to share with the family after school starts. And this household is no different. Our youngest boy started kindergarten last week and sure enough, he had a two-day cold. He was kind enough to share it with us and now I’ve got a horrible head and chest cold. So, although the weather has gotten nice, I sure don’t feel much like getting out to the garage and doing any wood working.
Well, this evening we’ve got 20 stamp auctions coming to a close. We’ve got several nice plate number singles for you, along with US classics like Scott 9, 92, 94, 97, 73, 35, and…. an unused Scott 188 with a very recent APS certificate. Also on the block this evening is a nice mint hinged Scott 595, the rotary press perf 11 carmine George Washington stamp from 1923.
We’ve also got a few stamps that launched last Thursday evening as ten day auctions: Scott 70, 96, 98, 36B, 71, and 17. They will close next Sunday, September 2.
Lastly, we have two stamps in our fixed-price / make offer store: Scott 89 (mint original gum), and Scott 99 (used). Both stamps are accompanied by authentication certificates. Take a look - any reasonable offer will be considered!
Thanks again, and good luck with your bidding.
