Hi folks - another beautiful Sunday here in California! But it is hot, heading up to about 94 or so later today. I am so over this heat!! Please, bring on autumn. Well, I suppose this is why God allowed humans to invent air conditioning. I feel sorry for the poor folks back in the olden days who had to endure this kind of heat with no way to get out of it.
Tonight we’ve got 25 stamp auctions coming to a close. Quite a variety of nice stamps for your consideration. There are 19th century classics like Scott 9, 14, 15, 30A, 68, 98, 115, 116, 73, 76, 113/114, 291 (50¢ Trans-mississippi) and 69. In the very early 20th century area we have a handful of nice mint plate number singles along with several mint perf 10 regular issues and a very lightly hinged, compound perf pair - Scott 538.
We also put up eight listings that run for 10 days, coming to a close next Sunday evening. These stamps range in SCV from $200 up to $600!
Soooooo - good luck with your bidding and have a great Sunday.
